"Tovarășu' ", a three-episode documentary, was produced by Chainsaw Films for PRO TV / VOYO with production services provided by Ariya Films. The series reveals Nicolae Ceaușescu's rise from poverty to peak power. The first episode explores his troubled, solitary early life, marked by isolation and imprisonment. The second examines his Stalinist training, which enabled him to consolidate power and charm global superpowers. The final part depicts his descent into madness, leading a fractured and furious nation to revolt, culminating in his execution—the only bloody end to a leader's reign in Eastern Europe.
